CAUTION

Make sure to read the following instructions carefully.

This product contains 2 discs: “Programme Update Disc,” which contains the

programme, and “European Map Disc,” which contains the map data.

Make sure to install “Programme Update Disc” first, and then install “European Map

Disc.” If you install “European Map Disc” first, or install only one of the discs, this

product will not function properly.

The enclosed OWNER’S MANUAL CD-ROM works only on PCs, and cannot be used on

the INE-S900R.

Update the Programme

CAUTION:

During Programme update, do not eject the disc, or turn off the INE-

S900R or car’s ACC, as malfunction may result.

1 Turn the ignition key to the ACC or ON position.

2 Insert “Programme Update Disc (disc1).”

Insert with the label side facing up.

Push the disc lightly, and the unit will automatically load the disc and begin

reading.

3 When the screen below appears, touch [Yes].

The programme rewriting screen appears after approximately 1 minute, and the

programme rewriting process begins.

If you touch [No], the confirmation message screen disappears. In this case,

eject the disc and go back to step 2.

4 The programme rewriting process should complete after 4

minutes. The INE-S900R is restarted and the screen below

appears.

5 Touch [No].

The Programme update is complete.

Press <c> to eject the disc.

If you touch [Yes], the programme rewriting screen is displayed again. When

the “Already updated.” message appears, touch [Next] to restart the INE-S900R.

After you have restarted the INE-S900R, eject the disc following step 5 above.

CAUTION:
